LÁ NA gCLUB 2010 9TH MAY 2010

Our Lá Na gClub day was held at our GAA grounds in Kilglass. The days events started at 2.00 p.m. There were games for all underage boys and girls. A novelty game then took place between the women and men of the club..all ages included!!! David Nugent provided music and some commentary from the sideline. Afterwards there was an array of refreshments for all who attended. A great day out was had by all who came. But we would hope that next year if Lá Na gClub continues that more of our community will get involved in making it an even more special family and community day.

Our day was then followed by an evening of Community Games athletics. Our young people put on some great displays of running and all placed winners will be participating in Ballyleague on June Bank Holiday week-end. Good luck to all concerned. Well done Una Compton on your continued organising of the Community games for Kilglass. Una had plenty of help on the day and thanks to all the committee and voluntary help given.
