These races were held in ideal weather conditions.
In the mens 10k Peter Duggan St Josephs was the winner from Michael Hennessy KCH with David Farrell Gowran in third. Gowran were the team winners.
The course was a 2 lap one with a good mixture of flat uphill and downhill running.
In the womens race Ailish Hayes (Thomastown AC) was the winner with Margaret Dillon, (Castlecomer AC) second and Marie Dowling (Castlecomer AC) third.
