Killavullen & Annakissa Parish
Directory of Local Clubs, Societies, Organisations and Initiativies.

Introduction:

Killavullen and Annakissa Parish is a thriving rural community, proud of its history, its sporting activities, its places of natural beauty and its community activity. As an initiative of Killavullen Community Council, it was decided to bring together details of this community activity to highlight its variety and extent to community members, old and new. For existing members of our community, we hope it will serve to bring to your attention and stimulate your interest in some activities of which you may have been unaware. For new members to our community, we hope it will provide an insight and introduction to our clubs and societies and act as a vehicle for helping you connect with people and place in your new community.

The Directory of local clubs, societies, organisations and initiatives begins with an introduction to the Parish of Killavullen and Annakissa and the two local schools; Ballygown National School and Killavullen National School. Thereafter, all organisations with "Killavullen in their titla are represented in alphabetical order, followed by all other organisations in alphabetical order.

Our thanks to everyone who contributed to the booklet, we hope it will encourage everyone to join in, participate, try something new or return to an old hobby and generally make the most of your time in Killavullen.

Killavullen Community Council 2007 - 2010.
