 The children from 1st, 2nd and 3rd class took part in two plays this term. We acted out “The Centurion’s Servant” and “The Sea of Galilee”.

We all had a part to play and the teacher made a video of us, so we could watch ourselves on T.V.

 

 

Swimming Classes

Last term, the pupils from first to sixth class travelled to the Sports Complex to attend swimming classes.

The classes were greatly enjoyed and the pupils will each receive certificates to mark their achievements.

The children from infants to second class will attend classes from March to June.

Special Days

First Holy Communion will take place in our church on May 15th Confirmation will be held  on June 4th

 

Norman Castles

Some of the pupils from 5th and 6th made Norman castles, either in groups or on their own.

 

 

MS Readathon 2003

Once again the pupils in our school participated in MS Readathon.

Hundreds of books were read, while over €1800 was raised to help people suffering with multiple sclerosis. Congratulations to everyone involved!

 

Project Work

In third class, we have been learning about trading through the ages. We decided to do a project about it.

We worked in three groups: one group looked at shopping today, while the other groups wrote about shopping when our parents and grandparents were young
