The Bully
The Bully
One sunny day a little boy called David started big school. It was called
Kilmanock. His teacher was called Ms. O Brien. She was very nice. He
came home at 12 o' clock. He told his mother school was good. The next
day he went in again, but at lunch time this big brown haired bully
came up to him and started kicking him. He started to cry. This went
on for a few days and even the teacher didn't know about this. He couldn't
concentrate on his work. Then one day the teacher found him crying in
the classroom. He said that James, the bully was bullying him. At lunchtime
the teacher called in the bully's parents and David's mother too. The
next day the bully wasn't in school. David was delighted. He thought
that the bully was gone to a new school. At lunchtime he was playing
with his friends and the teacher called him in. She explained,"James
is gone to a new school''.
David thought that he did something wrong and started to cry. The teacher
said,
"Ah David don't cry it wasn't your fault, he was the one who was bullying
you''.
He replied, "Then why did he go to a new school?". "Because he was bullying
all the children," replied Ms O' Brien. It was time for David to go
home. When he got home he told his mother that he got bullied and that
James had gone to a new school. She was amazed.
- The next day David's mother called James' mother on the telephone
saying,
"I'm sorry that you had to bring your son to a new school".
She replied, "Ah James was the one who was bullying your son first".
"Well that's children for you!" she answered back.
"I'll see you".
"Bye".
"Wait!!" said David's mother,
"James and you can come over for dinner tonight at 7 o'clock".
"Ok, thanks. Bye".
"Bye"
A few minutes after 7 o' clock she arrived with James. They brought chocolates with them too. The dinner that David and his mother made was delicious. After dinner David and James went off to Davids room and played the Playstation.They were the best of pals and David thought that James wasn't too bad at all. When they were finished playing James asked David a favour saying,
"Will you ask the teacher can I come back into your school again?. I swear I won't bully you again".
The next day David went in to school and ran to the the Principals office and said,
"Can James Finnegan, the bully, come back into our school again?".
She replied, "I would have to talk to his mother about him".
"He said that he won't bully me again".
"When were you talking to him?".
He replied, "Sure my mother asked his mother to come over for dinner and we are the best of pals now".
James's mother came in at 1o'clock to talk to the Principal. At 3o'clock the teacher called David and said,
"James is allowed to come back into this school again".
"Really!" he replied.
"Are you still friends?" she asked.
"Yes we are".
"He will be starting this Monday," she said. When the conversation was finished David hopped into his car and went to James's house. He told James the story. When David was leaving he said,
"I'll see you on Monday". James replied,
"Thanks again".
Monday came and James came in with his mother. Through the years David and James were doing very well in school. David never got bullied again, and James never got bullied either.
