Chapter 1

I arrived at cousin Kieran's house at about 3 o' clock on a sunny Monday in July. I took my stuff up to his room. Kieran was 12 and David his brother was 12 too, he would be 13 in a month. Kieran and David like the same things I do but David doesn't like pool. Their house is in an estate called Knockaun Court and they have a big house and a big garden. They have two sisters called Sinead and Ailish, Sinead is six and Alish is ten. That night we were just going to bed when their dad Paddy came in and said ''The weather is going to be good so we might go camping up to Carey's Castle tomorrow''. We were very excited. Carey's Castle is very nice it has a river behind and the wood is very big so you can have a long walk and you can come there for quietness.

Chapter 2

The next day we woke up very early and we all ran to the window to see if it was sunny, It was scorching and the sun was blazing .We ran into Paddy's room and we told him that it was scorching. He shouted at us,'' we will go but get of my bedroom''. We ran into Kieran's bedroom and got dressed, Ran downstairs and ate our breakfast. We packed our bags and we got the tent ready. Paddy got up and we were nearly ready to go. We arrived at Carey's Castle at about half 1. The others had brought their fishing rods but I didn't have one so I would just watch them. We were walking through the woods when we saw a lovely camping place. We brought a picnic with us so we sat down and ate that first. When we were finished the picnic, Paddy told us we would go fishing while it was bright. There was a river behind Carey's Castle and that's where we went fishing. Paddy caught two trout, Kieran caught nothing and David caught a trout. It was about 5 o' clock when we got back to our camping site. We had a little stove to cook the fish on, so we cooked it for the dinner. The fish was lovely.

Chapter 3

It was getting dark so Paddy told us to look for firewood, and he would set up the tent. Away we went. The wood was very spooky and dark, the wind was blowing heavily and it was raining, the ground was very soft and muddy, and we were getting scared. I heard something behind me I turned around slowly then I noticed Kieran was gone. David and I began to panic, we didn't know how to get back to the camp. Suddenly we saw a big dog tied to a tree. The dog was drooling he looked like he wasn't feed for a week. We started to run but the dog got loose and he was chasing us. We were running really fast but the dog was running faster. Eventually he caught me and he bit me in the leg. The dog was still biting me until I picked up a stick and hit the dog an unmerciful belt. The dog ran away. I was bleeding, David kept running and he got back to the camp and told Paddy "Kieran has disappeared and Sean has got bitten by a dog." They both ran to find me they saw me laying on the ground bleeding. Paddy thought I needed stitches. I was in extreme pain and now I was pumping blood and Paddy had no bandages. Paddy got a leaf and he put it on the cut. He told David to hold the leaf on the cut and he got a shoelace to tie it in place. Soon we saw a hut with a car parked outside. The hut was thatched it was very small and made out of timber. The car was a blue Avensis with the license plate number 01LK 9128. Paddy remembered seeing on the news that there was a bank robbery and it was the same car that robbed the bank. The car was outside the hut. We crept slowly and silently over to the hut and peeped in the window and saw two people with balaclavas pulled over their faces. There was loads of money on the table. Suddenly we saw Kieran tied to a chair with tape around his mouth. Paddy took out his mobile and rang the police and told them to come up to Carey's Castle, that the bank robbers were up here and to bring an ambulance. 10 minutes later the police arrived and surrounded the hut and told the robbers to come out with their hands up.

Chapter 4

After an hour the robbers came to their senses and came out. The police arrested the robbers and then they untied Kieran. He was in shock, He was very happy to be OK. We asked him how did the robber catch him. He told us he had seen the hut when we were out collecting wood. He had gone to investigate and had been dragged in to the hut by one of the robbers. He was too scared to go camping ever again Then I got rushed to the hospital and I got 5 stitches in my leg. That was the scariest camping trip I ever had. THE END
