The Runaway Dog By Emma Carroll.

CHAPTER I

It was a sunny day. The sun was shining brightly. Mr. and Mrs. Bleech lived beside the McGillycuddy Reeks mountains in Kerry. Mrs. Bleech left her small dog out in the yard. The dog's name is Floppy. He had brown and white fur and he was really fluffy and playful. Mr.Bleech went out to feed his dog. Mr.Bleech was a nice man, he is a kind man and bald. After Mr.Bleech fed the dog he went in the house and got the dog a bowl of water. When he went back outside the dog was gone. Mr. Bleech checked everywhere. He looked around the house, in the house and in the yard but he couldn't find him anywhere.

Chapter II

When Mr.Bleech told Mrs.Bleech she was so worried. She called some of her friends to ask them had they seen the dog. But no one saw the dog anywhere. She then thought that he might have gone into the woods and got lost. She then rang the guards and told them but they wouldn't look for him. She went over to her computer room and typed: ''Missing Dog Who ever find's him Will get a reward of €600" She then put a photograph of him at the end of the page. She then printed out 50 pages. Mr. Bleech went around putting them up in the neighbourhood. When he came back he said "Why don't we look for him in the mountains?'' They then went in to the kitchen and packed some sandwiches, two flasks of tea, a carton of milk, sugar, biscuits, bread, ham and butter. They went up to the bedroom and packed some blankets, pillows, clothes and the big tent. They packed all the things in the car.

Chapter III

The next morning the dog hadn't returned so they went up to the mountains. They drove up some of the way. They parked the car at the entrance of the mountain so that it would be safe. They took out all the things and carried them. They walked for hours and hours but they still couldn't find the dog. After another few hours they found somewhere safe up in the mountains to stay.

Chapter IV

Then they pitched the tent. When that was done they had something to eat and drink. They then talked about how far would they go in the morning. When they were making the beds in the tent Mrs. Bleech heard a bark.

Chapter V

She stepped outside the tent and the bark came closer. She then called Mr. Bleech and told him what she had heard. The bark came closer and closer. They got the torch and walked a bit. They saw the face of the dog. It was their dog and he was trapped in a cage at the edge of the mountain. They ran up to him and called him by his name. They saw a house right beside the dog. They pushed open the door and walked inside.

Chapter VI

The house was dirty and everything was thrown around the place. Then they saw someone sleeping on the couch. It was Mrs. Bleech' s friend. Her name was Mrs. Woodside. Mr. Bleech woke her up. She woke up and said to them "I am sorry for taking your dog, please don't call the police." But Mr. Bleech was already talking to the police. It wasn't long before the police arrived. They arrested Mrs. Woodside and they brought her back to the Police Station. Then Mr. Bleech tried to break the lock but he couldn't. Then he found a hammer in the house. He picked it up and hit the lock. They took the dog out of the cage and they and put him in the tent. Then they gave him some food and a drink of water. At 5 0' Clock in the morning they packed all the stuff and went home. When they got home they unpacked all their belongings. After they put away all the stuff Mr. Bleech went around and took down all the posters. When Mr. Bleech came back they brought their dog out for a walk. And so from then on they never let the dog out of their sight again. The End. Bye
