Waterford Crystal

Waterford has a long tradition of extending a warm welcome to tounfrom all over the world. Visitors are guided through the actual production areas where the crystal is made, A 17 minute audiovisual presentation is shown regularly in the theatre which traces, the ancient craft of glass-king to the present day.

Dungarvan

There are many interesting historical remains in the town of Dungarvan including St John's Castle which fell to Cromwell in 1649 and the Augustinian Priory on the bank of the River Colligan. Dungarvan is near to Cunnigar Peninsula and beach.
Passage East

This delightful fishing village nestles beneath a rocky outcrop and the river estuary. A regular car ferry crossing operates cross the scenic Waterford Harbour Estuary from the village to Ballyhack in County Waterford.
Dunmore East

A popular holiday location a short drive from Waterford city, Dunmore East is a quaint, picturesque village with thatched cottages, hotels, bed and breakfasts, self catering facilities, pubs and restaurants. Ardmore

Ardmore is a charming resort with a long sandy beach and a 12th century Round Tower. It is well worth visiting the site of the 7th century monastic settlement founded by Saint Declan. The ruined Cathedral of St. Declan contains fine carvings and 15th century altar tombs. Ardmore is a national winner of the 'Tidy Towns' competition.
Reginald's Tower

A tower has stood on this site for over a thousand years, protecting the quays of Waterford. The present structure, dating from the 12th century is the oldest urban civic building in the country Here Strongbow met Aoife, the daughter of Dermot McMurrough, King of Leinster and their subsequent marriage was to change forever the course of Irish history.
Lismore

Lismore is one of Ireland's Heritage Towns. A heritage centre in the former courthouse lies at the core of this historic town which invites and richly repays unhurried exploration of its streetscape, majestic castle grounds, ancient church and cathedral.
