Permanent Total Disablement Wording
Permanent Total Disablement" means disablement which necessarily and continuously prevents the Insured Person from engaging in any occupation for which he/she is filled by means of education, training and/or experience and which has lasted for twelve months and at the expiry of that period is beyond hope of improvement, or, for a child, the complete and continuous inability to perform the normal activities of a healthy person of the same age and experience.
Condition (Members of more than 1 EFI Society)
If an Insured Person is entitled to and has paid the premium for benefit under more than one Section of the EFI Master Policy, such person shall be entitled to claim under no more than two applicable sections in respect of the same accident, the Death Benefit being limited to X6,250 in all in respect of Insured Persons aged under 16 years.
Effective Time
From the date that the Insured Person's application for membership is accepted by their Branch until 31st
December of the same year.
