In 1998,
Torment began taking singing
lessons and also became involved
in teaching guitar to young
children between the ages of
seven and twelve. The latest
addition to Reel Raw came in the
shape of DJ Sky. This completed
the present line up and was to
lead to the band's first official
release " Forgive Her
".
January 1999 was to become
Torments main claim to fame. A TV
appearance on RTE's " Wide
Frontiers ", a holiday
programme, sees him skiing down a
mountain side in Austria playing
a fiddle, for FOUR seconds. ;-)
In
the year 2000 Torment plans to
release a solo album of his
entire back catalogue. This will
include a twelve CD set, his
wedding video and a book entitled
" Me And Reel Raw, The
Heavenly Arrival " or
MARRTHA for short. This will only
be advertised on television and
will not be available in your
local shops. Orders will be
fulfilled on a first come first
served basis and strictly one per
household. So beat the rush and
order your copy early for
christmas.
