Obvious marks: Different colours.
Colour: Green, blue and red.
Where it lives: In jungles and in hot countries
What it eats: Fruits and berries.
Beak: Dark grey and pointy at the top.

There are many different types of parrots such as the African Grey, a Cockatoo and a Macaw .

They live in large flocks so they can be dangerous .

They have two front toes and two back toes .

The African Grey is the best for imitating people .

 

Parrots have very long lives. One parrot lived for 80 years .

Every grey parrot has a red tail. .

The Kakapo parrot is only found in New Zealand and is very near extinction because of rats. It is very large and can't fly.
