Puffin

Size: Puffins are usually 18 cm in height.
Obvious marks: The males are a bit bigger than the females.
Colour: It is always black and white and in the winter its feet and beaks go grey,
Where it lives: They dig burrows at the side of cliffs or in the earth.
What it eats: Puffins eat fish and babies eat food gurgitated from their parents.
Flight pattern: Down then up, and down and up.
Wing span: Puffins have short wings.
Colour of eggs: Orange with a few black spots.
Nest: Their nests are made from feathers and grass.
How it catches food: It dives underneath the water.
Song: Sounds like a muffled chainsaw
Beak: They are very colourful but in winter they turn grey.
