Art classes - for the last 4 years I assisted with children’s art classes on a regular basis.
Gardening - for the last 3 years I have run my own gardening / small jobs business, doing various types of work for neighbours and local people.
I worked as a freelance technician for several days in November '98 reinstating a computer room for the National College of Art and Design.
Achievements
In college have been class rep since 2nd year, involving meetings with college authorities concerning facilities, etc and organising meetings.
I was corepresentative for 4th year VisCom on the End of Year show commitee, and ensured the survival of the traditional Design department June End of Year show.
For the last year I have been the de facto technician for the design studio mac lab, maintaining hardware and software and installing software. A useful and educational experience in a number of ways .
I was shortlisted for the Heineken Colour In Your Life awards with my web site design entry.
