Note also: in Irish the singular noun is used.
There are some exceptions

An ginideach iolra a leanann na focail sa tábla thíos

Cúpla:
Bíonn  uatha an ainmfhocail tar éis "Cúpla"

Dhá: two
takes the singular of the noun and the plural of the adjective
It also causes a séimhiú except after the following possessive adjectives:
a ( meaning belonging to her)
and a (meaning "their " plural )
