Career
Guidance
As students move into Senior cycle, they begin to focus more
on their future and careers. The guidance counsellor meets all
Leaving Certificate students individually to discuss their strengths
and interests, to explore opportunities and give careers advice.
The school has an excellent record of students progressing to
third level education, with others opting for further training
or employment
All Leaving Certificate students have one careers class per week
Here they get to develop a greater awareness of themselves . They
learn about career options and the world of work. They are taught
study skills and exam techniques, job-seeking skills and about
CAO application. In Third Year time is spent on study skills and
subject choice.
Career trips
are organized.
