FAS

The FAS scheme is a brilliant idea. There is one in our school. Fas means Foras Aiseanna Saothair, but everybody knows it as The Local Employment Project. You'll always see them cutting grassor picking up litter. They cut the grass at the church, the school and any where else in the village that needs to be cut. Every morning there is somebody from FAS picking up litter. They make a great contribution to the village and community.
