BOOKS!

Books are brilliant! They help you in everything. Computers do too, but you need electricity to work them. All you need to read a book is to be able to read and to have light and you don't even need electric light, a candle will do.

Books go back centuries. The first books were made out of cow skins. So when the cow was fat enough, they would kill it, eat the flesh and use its skin to write things down. People would write stories down so that they would be remembered and people loved these stories and still do.

Now it took a long time for the cow to be fat enough to kill it and it was very dear to kill the cow. So people went on and invented paper by cutting down trees. Since that clever invention, there has been millions and millions of books wrote.
