I love to watch telly,
It is even better than eating jelly.
My Dad thinks it is real good,
But being a carpenter he would rather buy a plank of wood.
On Saturday mornings we watch BBC1,
We watch Live and Kicking and we have great fun.
When we watch TG4,
We always hear a knock on the door.
Dad loves to watch Ann Doyle on RTE,
Therefore Mammy would rather make a pot of tea.
I love to watch UTV,
And I also love to watch TV3.
I really love to watch telly,
Especially when my belly is full of jelly.

Teachers are wicked,
teachers are cross,
teachers get mad
because they say they're the boss.
Teachers give homework,
teachers always shout,
Two things teachers are good at
are bossing and giving out.
My teacher is a man,
sometimes he is alright,
but when he gets mad
its not a nice sight.
I can't wait to be older,
no teachers everyday,
I know I'll hate working
but at least I'll get paid.
When I finish school,
I will be so happy,
no one to get angry,
except for my Mammy.

Spring is a time when flowers begin to bloom,
It is a time when lambs and all other animals are born,
Easter is in Spring, it is a happy time for children,
Because they get Easter eggs.
The days get longer and the nights get shorter.

Teacher's think school is cool,
It is really not,
We think it's cruel.
From 9 to 3 the pain is here,
Hand sweat,
And pupils bet.
Teacher's go home and have a rest,
While us children do our best,
Saturdays and Sundays are fun,
At least us children get a run.

Master loads us with work to do,
You will have to agree it is cruel,
I wish there was no such thing as SCHOOL!
Winter
And food for robins can't be found,
Then I know with joy and cheer,
My favourite season is here.
Throwing a snowball or two,
Friends get together and have some fun,
They might even build an igloo.
When we all share presents together,
The excitment of each girl and boy,
Hoping it will last forever.
The Zoo
Beautiful birds serenading,
Tall giraffes are striding,
The walrus is sliding,
The crocodile delaying,
Monkeys are swinging,
The moles they are digging.
Autumn
Its windy with some sun
Chestnuts and acorns are found,
All over the ground.
Berries to pull,
Trees ripe with apples,
Soon they will topple.
They are all in a dizzy,
Collecting lots of nuts,
To store in their huts.
October
The trees are all bare,
There's mist in the gardens,
And frost in the air.
The fields are all empty,
And we gather the leaves,
But, if you go out you can feel the breeze.
Picking up his leaves,
I told him "tis" getting dark,
I wonder does he feel the breeze.
When some people die of fright,
The winter is coming,
And I am suprised,
That no one else has realised.
Autumn
As it slowly leaves the Summer behind,
It's the season thats known as fall,
With a hopeful harvest for winters call.
With winds often light,
Leaves change their colour,
And the swallow takes flight.
And nature reseeding,
It'a time for reflection,
And harvest thanks-giving.
I'm writing to Complain
I'm writing to complain,
About all the money you took from me
On the first day of May,
That very day
I had just got paid,
And I was going to go out and buy a new maid.
Were about to cry,
When we heard that our old maid,
She did die,
Once again, I just want to complain.
Molly
Molly is what I called her,
She is very fluffy,
And I got her a new bowl and collar.
And her tail does too,
I hope she has a pup,
Or even better if she has two.
The light on I must keep,
On my feet she rests her head,
During the night she makes not a peep.
