Mrs Bridget McCarthy
When Scoil Mhuire Lacken opened in September 1950, Mr Sean McCarthy who had been principal in Legaginney School moved as principal to Scoil Mhuire. Miss Kathleen Keane the assistant teacher in Legaginney school moved to teach in County Tipperary.
Scoil Mhuire continued to operate as a three teacher school until Mrs McCarthy retired in 1964. It then operated as a two teacher school.
Mrs Kathleen Brady
When Mr McCarthy retired Mrs Kathleen Brady was appointed principal teacher and was until 20 - 09 - 1971 assisted by various temporary teachers.

Mr Andrew Brennan was appointed principal and the school operated as a three teacher school until Mr Andrew Brennan retired in June 1986. |

Ms Annmarie Brady
Mr Owen Martin was appointed principal teacher. The school became a four teacher school on 1 - 09 - 1986 when Miss AnnMarie Brady joined the staff as third assistant teacher.

Scoil Mhuire was granted access to Remedial and Resource teaching hours in accordance with Department of Education Rules. Mrs Claire Sullivan was the first appointed Remedial Teacher. She was subsequently replaced by Mr Brian Doyle. Mrs Margaret McKiernan was appointed Resource Teacher. The remedial teachers are shared with Ballinagh, Bruskey and Kilmore National Schools. The resource teacher is shared with Ballinagh and Bruskey National Schools.
Scoil Mhuire reverted to a three teacher school in September 1999. Mrs Teresa Dunne joined the staff of Killygarry National School. In September 2001 Mrs AnnMarie Sheridan (Brady) moved to teach in Ballinagh National School to be replaced in Scoil Mhuire by Miss Lisa Crowe a past pupil of Scoil Mhuire.

The school was granted secreterial services in 2001 and Mary Sheridan a parishioner was the first appointee.
