Lahardane’s inability to score at will, was again in evidence, as they squandered a 1-4 to 0-2 half time lead. Three points out of the total came from frees and umpteen attacks resulted in shots falling short.

The home side, Knockmore, had several players playing their second match that evening, and showed their fitness, by having a monopoly of the ball in the latter stages. The equalising free came with the last kick of the game deep in time added on.
