Lahardane traveled to Killala and were pushed all the way to the final whistle by a strong Killala side.

They opened with five points before the home side responded. At the interval the score stood at 1-7 to 0-1. Straight after though, Killala notched a well-taken goal, only to have a player sent off. A dismissal was always likely after all the bookings, which had to be made. Killala scored one more point with Lahardane closing with four points before the final whistle.
