Lahardane emerged as winners by three points after extra time in this North Mayo Winter League play off at Rakestreet recently. The visitors led at half time by 2-4 to 0-4. Second half goals came from Peadar Flynn and David Moran. Declan Leonard with 2-5 was Lahardane’s hero while Vinnie Cawley was a real threat scoring 1-3. Billy Loftus was Crossmolina’s top scorer with 8 points, while a Liam O’Malley goal tied the scores at 3-9 each at full time.

In extra time, Lahardane pulled out all the stops to run out deserving winners.
