Flattering win for Lahardane

In a thrilling under-18 league match, Lahardane edged out flattering winners in Bofeenaun maintaining their unbeaten run.

Lahardane were glad of a 0-9 to 1-5 lead at half time. Ian Towey and Barry McKenzie started strong, but with Mayo corner-back Anthony McDermott scoring 0-3, a draw looked unlikely. But then Ross Nolan and Seamus Coleman grabbed two late goals for Lahardane.
