Lahardane defeated Ballinrobe by 4-9 to 2-4 in the 3rd round of Division 3 of the county U-16 league at Ballinrobe last week.

The visitors led by 1-5 to 0-3 at the interval and second half goals by John Murphy and J.P. O'Gorman failed to get Ballinrobe into the reckoning.

Cormac Rowland, who was the best player on view, Brendan Ruttledge, Derek Sheridan, David Reilly, Paul Coleman and Patrick Rowland were Lahardane's key performers. James O'Malley, Rory Keane, David Kelly, Noel Colleran and Anthony O'Toole impressed for Ballinrobe.
