Moysiders Ardnaree dominate showdown

Lahardane set the early pace in this 'B' decider with points from Eamonn Crean, Aoife Lynn and Pat Maloney but once Peter Sheridan, playing his best game for Ardnaree this season, had the Sarsfields opening goal in the 6th minute, adding to earlier points by Dara McDonagh, the game quickly developed into a onesided affair.

A Pat Maloney goal, though, just before the break had left Lahardane leading 1-4 to 1-2 ahead.

It was in the quarter final that the best was seen of this Ardnaree team who now face Parke in the County semi final.

The goal rush was triggered by Dara McDonagh with two rapid fire scores and later further goals by Stephen McCarron, Peter Sheridan and Rory Clarke.
