Kennings:

. Kennings are short poems in which something is described but is not named. Here are some kennings written by fifth and sixth class. See if you can work out what they are describing.

 

Black and white with a big bush tail,
An eater of slippers,
Chaser of rabbits,
Loves hunting sticks,
Does what its told.
