Get YOUR name on a TT Bike

Firstly we are Mick Donovan from Limerick and Aidan Browne from Wexford. Mick has been racing sidecars for 5 years and I have been a passenger for 4. We started out in the Formula 1 class and 2 years ago we went to Formula 2 so we could compete in the Isle of Man TT. We had a successful season last year where some of the trophies we won were :

ISB Southern B Championship runner-up

ISB Northern Championship runner-up

ISMRSC Tom Fitzsimons Shield 3rd

Jimmy Windows Perpetual cup winners

And rider and passenger awards.

Our acceptance to the TT this year came as a bit of a surprise, and because you only find out you are accepted in the middle of March we had a lot of preparation to do quickly. As you might expect competing in the TT will be an expensive business (Tyres, Engines, Travel, etc). That is why we are looking for some sponsorship. People have been very generous so far and we are well along the way.

What this web page is about is trying to raise some money from all the forum users on biker.ie and putting the logo on the bike so hopefully you will cheer us on. I have got some inspiration from the Irish rugby team and if you want I will put your name / nickname on the biker.ie logo on the bike when you make a donation. We will leave the amount up to you. Hopefully the images below will help to explain the idea.

I am going to use the Mirror / Chrome background to make the www.biker.ie logo and then put the names around the edge in black font to create an outline. The logo will be staying on the bike for the rest of the ISB season so you can get a chance to see it yourself if your not making the trip to the island.

Thanks for your help and for all the good wishes.
