This is taken from the Netscape version of my page:

Note the underlines, the annoying dotted line and the way it jinks around the italicised letters, but most of all the crappy little finger-pointer thing.
Now this is the IE version:

See? No underlines, boxes or arrows where you don't want them. Just plain simple text. And it is ordinary text. The javascript to make them into links is unbelievably simple. If I could produce the same effect in Netscape I would do it happily, but unfortuantely, the only way to do it would be to double the amount of script, and EVEN THEN it still wouldn't look the same.
