Leeson Park Players

Events

The two main events in the Leeson Park Players calendar are the Spring and Autumn productions, but we also arrange a social outings/events. In the autumn, during the Dublin Theathre Festival, we usually make group bookings to two or three plays for as many members as can go.

In the New Year we have a Play Reading in the home of one of our members. This is a fun social evening where we performsmall excerpts from plays and vignettes for each other in a very casual celebration of drama - No line learning involved here, hence the play reading title. This evening is also a brilliant way to have your talent seen by future directors and casting committees.

In the summer we have some sort of a summer social gathering which is a lovely way of catching up with those people who you haven't seen since the Spring play. And of course we musn't forget that every production has a post-production shindig as well as various gatherings in the run up to and during the production.
