Ravens & Hogs
Ravens and Hogs
Court our chambers
In the fields and in the sky
They glut on waste
And I, as sealed to fate
As a waterdrop within an ice flow
I merely watch the sun set over these lands
And envy the freedom.
Gravestones Become Political Steps to Power
Here in Texas
Leave us our monsters,
Theyre easier to see than
The men masked by our fears
(Besides, theyre easier to kill.)

A Lost and Lovely Thought
An old grey wall to greet me
When my eyes are open wide.
A door thats made of steel
To keep me locked inside.
Where loneliness is company
And sorrow fills the air.
A life thats filled with memories
Where no one seems to care.
Sleep is my only freedom
In this place thats made of hell.
Like in a horror movie
Or science fiction tale.
I look into the mirror
And stare into my face
Count the awful memories
That time cannot erase.
The things that life has shown me
I cant believe its real.
But who could truly understand
Or care the way I feel.
The human mind is powerful
But what a price to pay
Because I am poor man
In the games that people play.
I hope I havent offended you
In any type of way
For taking up your precious time
To take the time to say
I do not know the memories
This little poem has brought,
While rudely expressing
A lost and lonely thought.

Love
Perspective
In the land of memories
Nostalgia
In the land of turmoil
Quietness
In the land of stress and depression
Peace
In the land of tears
Joy
In the land of death
Love is so amazing
Zambian death row prisoner.
Jesus Came
(1st verse)
Once all was darkness
No light to be seen
It was like starin at
A blank movie screen
A soul so troubled
A heart so heavy and worn
A fondest wish that
I had never been born
(Chorus)
But then JESUS CAME
Into my life
Took away my heartache
Took away my strife
The Son he healed
My wounded sould
He made it complete
He made it whole
It was like steppin out of darkness
Into the light
It was like
A sunrise so bright
He erased all my hurt,
Erased all my pain
And, yes, things just havent
Been the same
Thank God!
Since the wonderful, glorious day that
JESUS CAME
(2nd verse)
I had known so much trouble
So many wrong paths Id trod
Till one day I found my very own
Demascus Road
I was delivered from
A future so b lesk
A destiny so dark
That words couldnt speak
REPEAT CHORUS
(3rd verse)
And though Ive been healed
I remember it so clear
The Day when my life was ruled by
Trouble, heartache and fear
I remember it like
It was just yesterday
I felt despair deeper than
Words can ever say.
REPEAT CHORUS.

Goodbye dear friend
Goodbye brother

Go well
Your sentence is over
Be a better person
Pinch no more
Rob no more
Swindle no more
Kill no more

Mandela returned to jail
He became in South Africa
Jospeh returned to jail
He became a great man in Egypt
Become a great man in your community
Become a great woman in your community
Prison is awful
Dont make it your home.
