Dublin, a European capital city of more than one million inhabitants, with a rich literary and cultural heritage, has become a major centre of language study for foreign students, who come here to perfect their spoken English in a friendly, convivial atmosphere. Liffey Linguistics, named after the city's River Liffey, immortalized in the works of James Joyce, is part of this growing phenomenon.

We are a family-run language school, situated in south Dublin, close to the Dublin Mountains. We are recognised by the Department of Education as an English Language Summer School for the teaching of English as a foreign language and are members of MEI~RELSA (Marketing English in Ireland~Recognised English Language Schools Association).

During the summer we organise courses for both Juniors and Adults. Throughout the year we run courses for adults as well as Cultural Programmes for groups of schoolchildren and young adults.
