University of Limerick

This university undertakes programmes of education and research to doctorate level in it's six constituent colleges: Business; Eduacation;

Engineering; Humanities; Informatics and Electronics; and Science.

Within these Colleges, over forty primary degree programmes are offered. The University currently has over 9,750 students. One feature of the University is it's placementof students in employment relevant to their academic interests for part of their academic programme.

Mary Immaculate College

This college awards a number of degrees - Bachelor of Education,

Limerick Institute of Technology

This college consists of three colleges: School of Art and Design, School of Professional & Management Studies, and School of Engineering. The School of Art and Design is located in the city centre, where disciplines covered include Painting, Sculpture, Print,

Provides a full-time residential four year course in International Hotel Managment, with the option to pursue a B.Comm Degree through NUI Galway. Two years are spent on industrial placement: one on the continent and one in the UK, US or Ireland. CERT (State Tourism Training Agency)

Courses based in this training establishment include a two- year

Professional Cookery programme; three year, one day release Professional Cookery programmes; three and four month Elementary
