Jacob Jr.'s eldestdaughter, Maria Susanna, emigrated after 1745 on the same ship (asMrs. Heinrich Frantz) and settled in Tohicon, Bucks co., PA. Anotherson of Jacob Jr., Paulus, emigrated on the "Edinburg" in 1753 andsettled in present-day Dryville, Berks co., PA. The surname becameSharadin, Sheradin or Cheretin in the US. In Delongs Cemetery,Bowers, PA the stone of Jacob III reads: "Jacob Schirardin, b. inRauweiler, Europe in Jan 1735, d. 14 July 1820". (from PierreBalliet)
