1871 census info shows a Wm. John REID in Wallace twp. born 1845 inOntario...could be the same one. Is on the same page number (dist.30, subdist. G, div. 2, p. 14) as these REIDS: James (b. 1841), Thomas(b. 1843), Wm. John (b. 1845) and also the same page as "Daniel" ROSSwho is known to be Donald (error on census), b. 1829. Stratford-Pertharchives gives different birthdates for these brothers.
