Census states he was born in 1863; obit says 1861. He was a residentof Bennetsburg, Hector, NY.
Found a Jehial L. Chesley, age 54 (b. abt 1865) in 1920 Hectortownship census. He was single, living alone. He was living a fewdoors from Jabez S. Chesley, age 35 (b. abt 1884) a possible nephew oryounger brother. In 1920 in Hector, Jabez had wife Estella, 33,daughter Grace, 12, and son Floyd, 9.

But a Jehial L. Chesley was found in Hector, NY in 1920 with similarbirthdate of about 1865. Maybe there were two Jehial Chesleys.
