Was listed on the 1880 census as age 31, single, in Garry's household(dwelling 38, family 39). The 1914 farm directory has an entry inMontour Falls for a Sarah Isabel Stone with 25 acres (near John C.Stone). She is listed as "dau Jacob", but only know of Sarah Isabelas a dau of Garry. Fred Stone diaries speak often of Uncle John andAunt Sarah...these must be siblings to each other.
In 1920 Sarah I. Stone (71) was living with nephew Jay B. Stone & hiswife Emma, and also Rebecca (Stuart) Stone, her sister-in-law (Jay'smother).
In 1930 she was still living, age 81, single, living with nephew JayB. Stone (son of Charles) & Jay's wife Emma.
[210] 1900 census says that Sarah was born in Dec 1847.
[211] She was the informant on her brother's death cert. in 1915, so wasstill living then. She was living with her nephew Jay B. Stone onFrost Hill in the 1920 census & in the 1930 census.

[684] Stewart Clan Magazine, 1927, said that it is difficult to distinguishthis John from his cousin John (son of John) because both had childrenrecorded in the church in Wilton, and were interchangeably named asJohn, John Jr., John III. Went on to list "probable" children of thisJohn.
