After relocating from Horseheads, NY to St. Petersburg FL in 1965,
Florence became known as the Pelican Lady. She was a talented artist,
and her ceramic pelicans were in much demand. She was active in the
Methodist Church all her life and was a member of Order of Eastern
Star, Alert Chapter.
