[165] Probably was the "Mrs. Zurbrick" shown on the 1866 map of Cheektowaga,on Zurbrick Road. She was living between P. Zurbrick and N.Zurbrick. She was mentioned in a book (about the Walters ofCheektowaga?) as baking excellent cookies. Her death record in thevillage of Depew indicates that she died at age 90yrs-4mo-9days. Shelived in the USA for 67 years at the time of death, so her familyimmigrated about 1830, same as the Zurbricks. She was born in Germany,according to her son's death record. Her parents were given as "Geo.and Barbara Dieffenbach" on her death cert. She died of heart valvedisease lasting 30 days and of old age. Her death record said she wasmarried, but it should have said widowed.

[167] Lancaster Rural Cemetery Assoc. info confirms dates and says she diedin Depew of heart problems. She is buried in Line 25 of the OldSection of the cemetery, with her husband and two unidentified graves.
