Her parents were living in the Eli COUCH household on the 1855 census.
Called Ella E. Platt on the 1880 Fed. census, but Eleanor on the 1900& 1920 census. Her uncle Hiram L. COUCH was living with the GilesPLATT family at least 20 years (1880-1900), unoccupied due to losinghis left arm in the war. Hiram and Samuel were brothers of Ella'smother. Samuel was also living with the Giles PLATT household in1900.
