Lena L. Age 88, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February17, 2004. Mrs. Cummings was born on July 13, 1915 in the Town ofMontour, the daughter of the late Charley and Nora Wyatt Locke. Lenais survived by her son and daughter in law, Frank and Carol Dudgeon ofCayuta, NY; grandchildren, Ted and Mindy Dudgeon, and Chris andHeather Dudgeon, all of Cayuta, NY, and Patricia and Robert Naumilketof Auburn, NY; six great-grandchildren.; brother, Charlie (Jennie)Locke of Horseheads, NY; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs.Cummings is also survived by her dear companion and his family, ElmoJaynes, Richard and Darlene Jaynes and Tom and Amelda Jaynes, all ofReading Center, NY. Lena was an employee of Remington Rand, Elmira,NY, for 28 years, and worked at Schuyler Hospital for 12 years. Lenaalong with her late husband, Carl Cummings, operated a bakery inOdessa, NY, for seven years. Relatives and friends are invited to callat the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 534 Church St., Odessa, NY, onThursday, February 19, 2004, from 1 to 3 p.m. and where funeral andcommittal services will be held at the conclusion of calling hours, 3p.m. Interment will be held in Union Cemetery of Hector, Burdett, NY,at a later date.
