[1509] A John Greenan lived for awhile at 10 Keegan St. in Belfast, which wasa house also occupied by Patrick Greenan. John's occupation was "ropespinner" and "roper". There was a big rope factory (for the ships)next to St. Malachy's parish.
In 1899, John Greenan, son of Patrick (horse dealer) was married.Don't know if this was a son or grandson of the Patrick who died in1883.
