EDITORIAL

Not Just Saving Postage ...

This is a double issue for the best reason in the world - shortage of time.

Did you ever hear of Parkinson's Law - nothing to do with TA, but a bit of wisdom just the same.

Parkinson's Law says that Work Expands to fit the time available to do it.

As some of you know, I cut back on some of my activities since the summer. But despite this, I am still finding my time overfull - I have no idea how I managed to do all I got though last year.

I wonder how much would I have to cut back on to find myself with time on my hands!

Anyway I decided that another thing I could cut back is doing a double NewsNotes.

The AGM went very well. The weather was reasonably nice, and no floods this year. A group has been set up to do the five-year review on the Constitution. All suggestions welcome (address below)

September Meeting in Geraldine's- thanks Geraldine. Again we watched the video this time about transactions. The discussion was very interesting. We were glad to welcome a newcomer. This was an extra meeting - I hope we contacted everyone. At that meeting we changed the date of the October meeting to October 30. Venue details enclosed.
Until a new venue is found, contact 4511125 for details of where TAI East will meet each month.
