This is the view that await you at The Anchorage, situated just outside Ireland's premier Fishing Port of Castletownbere, West Cork. This cottage has undergone extensive refurbishment in the last 12 months to bring you, the guest, every convenience to make your stay as hassle free as possible.

There is a large private garden at the rear - which is ideal for relaxing in, for the children to play in or to dine al fresco when the weather permits. Pets, however are not allowed. The Anchorage is an ideal base from which to explore the wonderful Beara Peninsula - Ireland's best kept secret. If you enjoy a swim in the clear atlantic - there is a fully serviced pebble beach just 2 minutes walk away. The Anchorage is just 10 mins walk from the vibrant town of Castletownbere, where you can sample the cuisine delights at The Lobster Bar - owned by your host/owner Kay - washed down by a beverage in comfortable surroundings and wonderful company. Kay will advise you of the places of interest to visit - appropriate to what you wish to do - the list is endless.
