The new CD from the Loreto Choir, entitled 'He Came In Love ',
was launched by Sean Og O hAilpin at The Grand Hotel, Fermoy on Monday evening.
At this most enjoyable function Sean Og praised the commitment and self
of the members of the choir and of Marjorie Moran, Sr. Nuala, Colette Barry
and Deirdre Foley of the Loreto Music Department. Commitment was the
essential ingredient for success in any area of our lives, he said, in music as in
sport.
Before a large audience of parents, friends and members of the school
community, the Choir performed four songs from their new CD, ending
with Saviour's Day, the song which they sang to such acclaim on the
Toy Show. This song will be played on Lyric FM on either 5.20 or 6.20
on Wednesday of this week.
A wonderful Christmas buffet was provided afterwards by the Grand Hotel
and the school was very appreciative of Mr. Jim Bermingham 's hospitality
The CD is available from the school and from certain outlets in Fermoy.
