Our pastoral care system is based upon the principle of respect - respect for oneself, respect for one's companions and respect for all the adults of the school community.
Our Pastoral Care team liaises closely with the Guidance Counsellor, the School Chaplain and the Year Heads who help to develop the morale and well being of the whole group.
Under this umbrella the Growing in Friendship Programme, the Youth Leadership Programme, the Rainbows Programme, and various Parenting Programmes are organised.

Our Guidance Counsellor interviews the Senior students individually on an ongoing basis to help in career choices. The Parents Association organises mock interviews
and visits from outside speakers. Visits to universities and other 3rd level colleges are also arranged for senior students.
Our Guidance Counsellor and our School Chaplain give individual counselling and advice where it is requested.
