Write a Book Project 2001.

Congratulations   to  all   the  girls  in   St  Louise's   school    who  took    part     in    this   years  Write-a-Book   Project.   The   project    was    organised      by   the  Dublin  West   Education Centre   and    each  pupil   wrote,   illustrated    and  presented    her  own    story    as   a    completed  book .  The   standard    of   entry    was   extremely   high  every     girl  who   entered a book should be extremely proud of herself.

The following girls books were selected for Special  Merit Awards:

Tríona Flemming, Ciara O Connor, Ciara Lane, Megan O Grady, Linda Craven, Nadine Costello, Elizabeth Carroll, Michelle Byrne, Sharon Dempsey, Grace O Mahony, Stacey O Toole, Jamie Byrne, Jennifer Ormsby.

The girls were invited to a ceremony at The Spa Hotel, Lucan where they received their certificates and rosettes by Terry Henry Hassett, a well - known children's author .

We are very proud of our talented young writers.
