We went on our school tour to Cork on the 17th of May. We left the school at 8.00am and arrived in Cork at about quarter past twelve.
It was a very long trip but we stopped in Fermoy at a park and had our lunch. When we got to Crosshaven we met the Coveneys, who sailed around the world for eighteen months to raise money for the children of Chernobyl. We have been following them on their website.
First we talked to Rory and asked him questions. The we went in to see a slideshow with Tony.
After that we were allowed on their boat and Rebecca, the only girl, talked to us there. We also met Adi Roche.
We took a lot of pictures and we had a great time.
