Scores
were hard to come by as the marking was tight but by the
24th minute of an at times frenetic second half the Blues
had drawn level with points from Nicholas Corrigan in
the ninth and 15th minutes, the second from a free, and
Shane McCarville, who had come on as a substitute early
in the second half.
At this stage it looked as if the game was heading for
a draw but Magheracloone came in search of further scores
and they were rewarded when goalkeeper, Shane Duffy, came
up-field to convert free kick in the 26th minute for what
ultimately proved the winner although Scotstown did have
one or two late chances that could have seen them take
a share of the spoils. Magheracloone's Tom Freeman was
sent off on a straight red card during the second half.
