Congratulations
to all the team! I am no longer living in
Magheracloone but get updated once a week
on the football scores by my family. I am
still a Monaghan Lady and sport my jersey
down here in Co. Clare much to the dislike
of my friends from Clare. Best of Luck for
next year, you have done Magheracloone Proud.
See you all at Christmas Tracy Lynch. |

about football and has being ringing him for
at least 20 years both men are on in years
and wouldnt be as mobile as in there playing
days we have the talked to peter on the phone
and he was delighted to let us know that you
guys brought the cup to his bedside but both
of these men are letting on to each other
that they remember each other but they dont

a re-union. |

Just a little note to say how proud I am
and I'm sure everyone in both Lower & Upper
Magheracloone are of your fine victory yesterday
- Sunday, September 19th will be a day we
will all remember for a long time to come.
Congratulations to all the team, I'm sure
there'll be celebrations going on for at
least a week or a month or two!!!! A little
special note of congratulations to my close
neighbours Tom Freeman Senior & Damian &
Thomas & Bernard Freeman.
Unfortunately I live in London for the
past 17 years and on this occasion I didn't
make it back home for the match, however
I was ringing every few minutes for regular
updates and indeed celebrated the victory
last night with a few drinks!!
Over the past few years I have tried to
attend as many of the matches as possible
when I'm back home but I'll certainly be
booking my flight home to support Magheracloone
as they continue their quest to let everyone
beyond Monaghan know just what a good team
Magheracloone actually are.
Again Many Congratulations!! I just wish
I could have been back in Carrick last night
for the celebrations. I wish every member
of the Team the success you most certainly
deserve in your future matches. I will be
flying the black & white flag and letting
everyone in the Irish Pubs in North West
London know who to look out for in this
years Club Championship!!!!
Good Luck!!!!

Bad result
for Monaghan football yesterday a terrible
display of football. Hope it does not dampen
the spirits of the boys who represented us
very well. Lets win the club championship!!!!

Great website lads. Just got a link here from
the Cavan hoganstand page. Didn't know anyone
was keeping track of the results and posting
them online. I have fond memories of magheracloone
as we played you in an under 10's community
games Ulster final in Omagh many many years
ago! Denn are going well. Just missing one
player due to county commitments so we have
a solid team that's been together for a good
few years. All the best for the rest of the
competition. Cheers. |

additional content: History of Magaheracloone

grounds and facilities including, pitch, stand,
dressing rooms, handball alley, community
center, juvenile pitch and parking facilities
and entrance to grounds. Maybe post a Map
of location. Have 3 webpages in 1: Mens, Ladies
and Junenile with links and maybe keep a space
for expats/emmigrants relating to GAA etc...
Any chance of getting photos from games especially
c'ship, team + some action????? |
