Ø I was part of a team developing an online web based Returns Administration System for the Reverse Logistics Industry. This software package, myRMA.net, allowed our clients to track their product wherever/whenever it moves in the returns chain.
Ø I wrote the ASP and VBScript server-side code that formed the users web interface with a back end Microsoft SQL Server 2000 database. This involved all stages of development from user interface design, developing, assessing usability and bugging.
I was also responsible for implementing database maintenance and backup routines. My main languages are ASP, VBScript , SQL , HTML.
Ø I was also involved in the design of the front end of the company's three websites - ChipeServices.com , myRMA.net and Chip.ie.
Ø I have a good working knowledge of the industry standard web design packages i.e. Visual Interdev 6, Photoshop, Dreamweaver (UltraDev)& Fireworks 3, Flash 4 and Paint Shop Pro.

Ø Responsible for maintaining the quality of health food products (Rice and Popcorn cakes) from raw material to final product stage.
Ø Direct liaison with customers and suppliers for product development.
Ø Developed and trialed new flavors for grain cakes and formulated procedures for production of same.
Ø Dealt with the customer complaints and implemented a Customer Vending program.
Ø Resolved technical problems on the production line.
Ø Responsible for implementing GMP and in house factory procedures in the production area.
Ø As chairperson of the Occupational Health and Safety Committee I was responsible for implementing and maintaining OH&S practices.
Ø Implemented an induction program for process workers.

Working for the R&D dept., I was solely responsible for coordinating the pilot production of a new feminine hygiene product.
Ø Ensured the proper implementation of production procedures.
Ø Carried out extensive testing to determine performance characteristics of finished product.
Ø Documented all project / production information for ISO9000 procedures.

Ø Qualitative and quantitative research into the market for Flavoured Spring Waters, Functional Foods, Fruit Juices and other products.
Ø Conducted international market feasibility and competitive studies for each product.
Ø Advised senior management of the market strategy for each product through reports and presentations.
Ø Organized trade shows and represented Dairygold at various conferences and food fairs.
Ø Dealt with customer complaints.
